About This Product
Shatavari Asparagus racemosus
Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), literally "she who possesses a hundred husbands," is Ayurveda's foremost herb for female reproductive health and is also a powerful adaptogen for all genders. Its primary bioactives are steroidal saponins known as shatavarins (I–IV), along with isoflavones, polysaccharides and mucilage that support hormonal balance, immune modulation and gut health.
Surging global demand comes from the women's wellness supplement category, adaptogen supplement market, lactation support products and Ayurvedic churnas and tonics. PAX Herbal supplies dried shatavari root and powder from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, with saponin content tested per batch. Raw dried root naturally contains approximately 1–3% steroidal saponins (shatavarins) — high-potency standardised extract (20–40% saponins) is available through our Herbal Extracts range.
Standardised shatavari extract (saponins 20%–40%) is available through our Herbal Extracts range for premium nutraceutical formulations.
