About This Product
Ginger Oleoresin
Ginger oleoresin is a concentrated extract of dried Cochin ginger rhizomes — one of the most complex natural spice extracts commercially available. It captures three distinct active fractions: gingerols (15–20%) — the primary pungent compounds from fresh/dried ginger with anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory activity; shogaols (3%+) — dehydration products of gingerols formed during drying, more potent bioactives; and the volatile oil (18%+) — the fresh, citrus-zesty aroma fraction that defines ginger's sensory character.
PAX Herbal uses premium Cochin unbleached ginger as feedstock — preserving the fullest possible gingerol profile. Cold extraction at controlled temperatures is used to minimise gingerol-to-shogaol conversion during processing. GC/MS profiling is performed per batch with individual gingerol and shogaol compounds identified.
