Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is one of the world's most widely consumed spices, with documented culinary and medicinal use spanning over 5,000 years. India is among the world's top ginger producers, with Cochin (Kerala) ginger recognised globally as the premium dried ginger origin — characterised by its high gingerol content, bold aroma and characteristic lemon-warm spice flavour profile.
PAX Herbal supplies dried whole ginger (fingers and splits), sliced ginger and ginger powder. Both bleached and unbleached (natural) grades are available. Gingerol content (1.5%+) is tested per batch. ASTA cleanliness standards are maintained. For pharmaceutical buyers, 6-gingerol content can be specified on the COA.
