About This Product
Haritaki King of Medicines
Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), known as Chebulic Myrobalan, is considered the most important herb in Tibetan medicine — called the "King of Medicines" — and is one of the three fruits of Triphala, the most widely used Ayurvedic formulation globally. It is rich in tannins (chebulic acid, gallic acid, ellagic acid) which give it potent antioxidant, antimicrobial and astringent properties.
PAX Herbal sources haritaki from sustainably wildcrafted forests in Central India and supplies dried whole fruit, dried pieces and haritaki powder. Tannin content is tested per batch and consistently measures 30%+. Available individually and as an equal-parts Triphala blend with Amalaki (amla) and Bibhitaki.
We supply to Ayurvedic manufacturers, Triphala supplement brands, nutraceutical extract companies and natural health product formulators across India, Europe, the USA and Japan.
