About This Product
Clove Oleoresin
Clove oleoresin is one of the most potent and commercially important spice extracts — a dark viscous concentrate of Kerala cloves with an intensely warm, medicinal-sweet aroma dominated by eugenol (75%+) and its ester acetyl eugenol (10%+). Eugenol is both the primary flavour compound and a pharmaceutically active molecule with documented anesthetic, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.
PAX Herbal produces clove oleoresin from premium Kerala handpicked clove buds. Eugenol and acetyl eugenol content are tested per batch by GC/MS. Two feedstock grades are available: bud oleoresin (highest eugenol and aromatic quality — premium grade) and stem oleoresin (slightly lower eugenol, more economical). Both food-grade and pharmaceutical/dental-grade specifications are available with appropriate documentation.
