About This Product
Gujarat Fennel Seeds
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), called Saunf in India, is one of the most versatile aromatic spices — used in food, pharmaceutical, herbal tea, essential oil and confectionery applications. Gujarat is the world's premier fennel-growing region, producing seeds with the distinctive bright green colour, sweet anise-like aroma and high volatile oil content that define premium export-grade fennel.
PAX Herbal supplies fennel in multiple grades — whole seeds, machine-cleaned and gravity-separated, fennel powder, and essential oil grade. Volatile oil content (1.8ml/100g+) is tested per batch. EU and USDA organic grades are available. The primary aromatic component, trans-anethole (80%+), defines the characteristic sweet anise character.
We supply to food manufacturers (bakery, confectionery, sausage, liqueur), pharmaceutical companies (digestive preparations), herbal tea blenders, essential oil distillers and personal care brands across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
