Rajasthan Senna Pods
Senna pods (Cassia angustifolia) are the dried fruit of the senna plant, harvested after the leaves and left to mature on the bush. Pods typically carry a slightly different sennoside profile to leaves — richer in sennoside A, making them especially valued for pharmaceutical extraction of standardised sennoside preparations.
PAX Herbal sources senna pods directly from the same Jodhpur, Barmer and Jaisalmer farming clusters that supply our senna leaves. Every batch is tested in our in-house HPLC laboratory and dispatched with a full Certificate of Analysis. Pods are machine-sorted for uniformity and baled for efficient container stuffing.
